Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Ashley Howell. I am a new wife, a mother of five amazing fur babies, an artist, a music lover, a movie connoisseur, an overall nerd and a photographer. I am a photographer - that statement makes me smile because I have worked hard to confidently announce myself to the world. This, my first blog post, is my coming out party, and I want to use it twofold. First I'd like to introduce myself and my brand to those who do not know me, and second I'd like to thank all of those who have supported me both in business and in life.
Lets start by introducing the brand: Ashley Howell Portraits. I have stripped down my portfolio to the bare minimum, removing all works I deem not representative of my brands goals. So what is my brands goals? My brands goals are to create contemporary magazine quality portraiture for all women, ages 8-80, capturing the beauty within you, while giving a luxury experience and delivering high quality tangible prints and products to be cherished for years to come. Pretty long winded huh. The reason for that is I believe a lot of photographers focus on shooting any client and giving them an easy product for fast cash. I will not do this, I cannot do this. I want to focus on your experience, from start to finish. I want you to be prepared for your session to get the most out of it. I want to photograph you the way you would like and I would like to deliver beautiful prints, albums, canvases, and folios that you can proudly display, and not throw in a drawer somewhere. I want you to have an amazing experience with us.
To those of you whom are returning clients and supporters of us, Thank You. From the bottom of my heart. I have grown over the last year and a half. I have become more confident, not only in my work, but myself. I have learned so much, and continue to learn. I could not have grown, or done anything I have in the past year and a half without you. Some aspects of our business will be changing, but I believe, for the better. I hope you hang along for the ride and as always, give your feedback.
